School Blogs

Page history last edited by John Pearce 6 mos ago

School blogs have the advantage of being easy to update with minimal technical expertise. Because blogs are based on a chronological arrangement and because you can embed and aggregate content including newsletters and the like, they are an excellent vehicle for disseminating and sharing information that might otherwise be distributed in print or other formats. Through strategic use of the Comment functionality of blogs, staff, students and parents can also be allowed to contribute to a conversation around any or all of the blog posts. Here are a couple of examples of the ever increasing number of principals and schools who are using blogs to communicate with their school community.
